Dog finds, eats, gets stoned…
A dog who ran off from its owner in Seattle’s Seward Park found some abandoned marijuana – and promptly ate it and got high.
Jen Nestor Waddell, the owner of Jack, an 11-year-old Labrador mix, told KING-TV that the dog was ‘just stoned’ when they got back from their walk on May 12.
Apparently, the symptoms of Jack’s drug haze included glassy eyes, and a certain amount of difficulty walking.
A vet who examined Jack said the dog had swallowed a large amount of dried marijuana. Fortunately, after being given medication to induce vomiting and getting a night of rest, Jack was back to usual, non-stoned self.
Waddell told police about the drugs, and added that they could borrow Jack to find them if they paid the $1,500 vet bill.
